-The visual inspection method is the most common in industry. Since many tests require the operator to observe the surface during inspection, visual inspection is also part of other methods. As the name implies, this test involves visual observation of the surface of a part to evaluate the presence of discontinuities or openings.

 

 

-Within the visual inspection method, we can also find the remote visual inspection technique. Basically, this technique uses tools that allow inspection of areas the inspector cannot physically access because of size restrictions.

 

 

-The main application of this technique is in the aeronautical industry, specifically turbine inspection.
