-Leak testing (LT) is a non-destructive testing technique intended to verify the tightness of components, systems or equipment, allowing leaks to be identified and located in vessels, pipes or elements subjected to pressure or vacuum.

 

-The method is based on applying different techniques and means (tracers, differential pressure, bubble testing, among others), depending on the required sensitivity level and service conditions, in order to detect leaks, even very small ones.

 

Applications:

· Tightness verification in pressure vessels.

· Inspection of pipes and conveying systems.

· Leak detection in heat exchangers.

· Component control in manufacturing processes.

· Testing in vacuum systems and closed circuits.
